I was born and raised in the United Kingdom. After completing my A-levels, I decided to forgo completing a LLB in Law Degree in the United Kingdom and decided to move to the United States in 1994. Prior to pursuing a law degree at Seattle University School of Law, I graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University by completing a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. I was also awarded the Kelliher award for attaining the highest GPA in the Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Philosophy departments. At Seattle University I was a treasurer and member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. During my undergraduate degree I was placed on the Dean's list several times. The United States Achievement Academy awarded me with the All-American Scholar Collegiate Award.
I completed my Juris Doctorate at Seattle University School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, I became a member of the Washington State Bar. I worked as a public defender at Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel. Since leaving the Department of Assigned Counsel I have been in the private practice focused on criminal defense. I believe that I provide my clients with articulate and effective representation.
